Aafaq will hold and store all customer transaction data with UAE as prescribed by the Central Bank of UAE.

Aafaq will establish safe and secure backup of all the customer data and transactions in a separate location for the required period of retention.

2. Aafaq Website And Mobile Application Terms And Conditions

The provisions of the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions mentioned below including the content, information and services shall be an integral part of conditions for using the Aafaq Mobile Application, Aafaq Website, and all other digital and transaction channels. You acknowledge that you read, understand, and agree to be unconditionally bound by these terms, whether you are a registered user or not.

Aafaq shall not collect personal information about you when accessing Aafaq Mobile Application and Aafaq website unless you specifically and willingly choose to provide such information to us.

Your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions is regarded as approval to collect, process and maintain your personal information. Aafaq requires your informed and expressed consent before using and sharing your Personal Data for direct marketing or transferring the Personal Data to Authorized Agents for direct marketing.

Aafaq will retain your personal data for as long as there is an ongoing relationship with you and as required to meet our legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Criteria for determining retention periods include the nature of the data, the purpose of collection, and legal requirements.

After your relationship with Aafaq ends, Aafaq will keep your personal data for a period necessary to:

In the event of the termination of an Outsourcing contract with a Third Party, Aafaq will ensure and be able to demonstrate that all Personal Data is either retrieved from the Third Party and/ or is destroyed.

7. Usage Restrictions

You agree to access and use Aafaq Website, Aafaq Mobile Applications, and other digital channels only for lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for the knowledge of and adherence to all applicable laws, statutes, rules and conventions pertaining to your use of Website, Aafaq Digital Mobile Applications, and other digital channels. By accessing these, you agree that you will not:

  • Use Aafaq‘s Website, Aafaq Digital Mobile Applications, and other digital channels, or any of the content, information, or services on these channels, whether intentionally or unintentionally to commit a criminal offense in violation to UAE or international laws or to encourage others to engage in any conduct which would constitute a criminal offense or give rise to civil liability.

Terms and conditions in the Privacy policy are defined to prevent legal actions from being initiated by Aafaq in case of continued defaults on payments.

You agree to cooperate fully in the defence of any such claims.

As Aafaq reserves the right to assume at its own expense, the exclusive defence and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you. You agree not to settle any matter without the prior written consent of aafaq.

Further, you agree to indemnify Aafaq, all of its employees and agents from and against all damages, legal fees, losses, expenses and any other costs related to any claims or procedures taken against Aafaq arising out of your violation of any of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions, or any other liabilities related to your use of Aafaq Website and Aafaq Mobile Application.

13. Registration & Account Information

Certain portions of Aafaq‘s Website, Aafaq Digital Mobile Applications, and other Digital Channels are limited to registered users and/or allow a user to request support or services online by entering personal information.
